Goodbye, up! city14. May 2020

Dear up! city fans, we are sorry to inform you that the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, unfortunately, also affected this project, and so for serious operational reasons, the up! city made the difficult decision to close down its operation on 30 April 2020.
We would like to thank Volkswagen Slovakia for our several years of successful cooperation. We started the project together and we learned a lot about how amazing electromobility in the city is, what versatile use bicycles, including the cargo ones have, and how much greener transport in the city can be. Last but not least, this cooperation started the revitalization of the square in front of the market hall, which in a few months changed from a shabby space, through which everyone preferred to quickly move to a pleasant place, which is a symbol of spending free time for the Bratislava residents during summer days. We thank you!
