We are very sorry, but Saturday's food markets will not take place in the near future. It happens despite the exception to the curfew, as citizens are allowed to go out to obtain groceries.
Due to the pandemic situation and the recommendation issued by the RÚVZ BA, the Local Office of the Bratislava - Staré Mesto District ceased to issue the necessary market sales permits for all markets in its territory, including food markets in the Old Market.
We accept the decision and hope that the pandemic situation will soon calm down. However, we continue to work hard to invite you to our market as soon as possible. For many of our marketers, who are small local farmers and producers, this is the only chance to sell their crops and products and earn a living.
