Fallgrapp is the author's project of musician and producer Jureš Líška, which captivatingly combines electronics with acoustic instruments, a string trio and the vocals of singer Nora Ibsenová. Layered arrangements, combining with other forms of art, interesting collaborations, emphasis on visuals and an unmistakable atmosphere at concerts are a combination that ranks Fallgrapp among the most remarkable Slovak projects. The band has three studio albums to its credit (Rieka (2014), V hmle (2017) and Ostrov (2020)) and several awards, including the Radio-Head Award and the Tatra banka Foundation Award for Art (for Jureš Líška's original music for the ballet miniature BezsLovE for CIS). The band is currently finishing their new album, which is scheduled for release this fall. "It's a bit symbolic, since ten years have passed since the release of our first album. We want to show the largest possible cross-section of our work. In connection with a chamber orchestra, it will have a fuller sound, but we also want to show that our songs in new arrangements can work beautifully even in a minimal setting," explained Jureš Líška. The concert will feature a selection of the best, as well as songs from the new album accompanied by the Spectrum Orchestra led by violinist Ján Kružliak Jr. The opening concert of the 20th anniversary festival Viva Musica! will take place in the Old Market, where the festival will return after three years.
